Reliance to shut CDU at 660,000 bpd plant from Fri
NEW DELHI, July 2 (Reuters) - India's Reliance Industries Ltd (RELI.BO) on Thursday said it would shut one of its crude unit at 660,000 barrels a day Jamnagar refinery in western Gujarat state from Friday for 2-3 weeks for routine maintenance.
"With other units in the refinery scheduled to be operating as usual, product sales and dispatches will continue at the normal levels during the above period," the company said in a statement.
Reuters had reported in June that Reliance would shut 325,000 bpd crude unit in early July. [ID:nDEL364600]
The firm has commissioned the second crude unit at its new 580,000 bpd refinery ahead of planned shutdown at its old plant. [ID:nDEL357811]
