India Reliance Comm adds 1.74 mln users in June

NEW DELHI, July 21 (Reuters) - India's No. 2 mobile operator, Reliance Communications (RLCM.BO), said on Monday it added 1.74 million mobile users in June, taking its total to more than 50 million.

The company had 49.05 million subscribers as of May, according to data from India's telecoms regulator.

Reliance Communications and South Africa's MTN (MTNJ.J) last week called off tie-up talks, which would have created a global top-10 telecoms firm. (Reporting by Devidutta Tripathy, Editing by Mark Williams)
