Indian shares choppy in early; ICICI, Infosys fall
NEW DELHI, July 9 (Reuters) - Indian shares quickly shed gains in early trade on Thursday after opening slightly higher as uncertain global economic outlook kept investors at bay.
At 9:59 a.m. (0429 GMT), the main 30-share BSE index .BSESN was down 0.06 percent, or 7.65 points, at 13,761.50, with almost half of the components falling.
ICICI Bank (ICBK.BO) and Infosys Technologies (INFY.BO) led the losses, each falling more than 1 percent.
The 50-share NSE index was down 0.13 percent at 4,073.70. (Reporting by Devidutta Tripathy)
