Metso Repeats 2007 Sales, Profit Forecasts -CEO

HELSINKI (Reuters) - Finnish engineering firm Metso's (MEO1V.HE) Chief Executive Jorma Eloranta repeated company's forecasts for 2007 sales and profit growth, in a presentation to investors published on the firm's Web site.

Metso expects 2007 revenues to rise more than 20 percent compared to last year and operating profit to rise clearly from 2006, but for the profit margin to remain slightly below its "over 10 percent" longer-term target.
