The calculation of share earnings is based on the weighted
average of 2,789.55 million shares in issue during the period vs
2,769.68 million shares the same period a year ago.

Comparative share earnings and dividends have been adjusted
for one-into-five subdivided shares held on July 2008.

Total dividend for year is 0.145 yuan (including interim
dividend of 0.06 yuan) vs 0.12 yuan.

The consensus (mean) forecast, according to a poll by
Reuters, was for net profit of 866.53 million yuan for the year.
