JAKARTA, June 16 (Reuters) - Indonesia's domestic cement
consumption in May fell 14.4 percent to 3.05 million tonnes
from a year earlier, industry data showed on Tuesday.
Cement producers had predicted cement demand would decline
this year amid a global economic slowdown.
Indonesia's largest cement firm, PT Semen Gresik (SMGR.JK),
had expected cement consumption to grow 0-3 percent this year,
after rising 11.5 percent in 2008.
Following is the cement consumption data, in tonnes, from
the Indonesian Cement Association provided by Semen Gresik.
