 - Indonesia's finance ministry to hold debt auctions to
help plug the deficit budget.

 -WAVE OF PROTESTS OVER DETENTION OF EX-KPK OFFICIALS
 Waves of protests and criticism over a police move to
detain anti-corruption agency officials occured in seven
Indonesian cities on Monday, putting pressure to the president
to take political action over the detention of the officials.

 The battle between the police and the Attorney General's
office against the Corruption Eradication Commission, or KPK,
provides President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono with a political

 - INDONESIA PUTS HIGH HOPES ON VERIFICATION TEAM
 Indonesians put high hopes in President Susilo Bambang
Yudhoyono's move to set up independent team to clarify facts
and legal process in the case of Bibit Samad Riyanto and
Chandra Hamzah, two former anti-graft body officials, who were

 - COURT TO PLAY CONTROVERSIAL RECORDING
 The Constitutional Court is expected to play a
controversial recording allegedly featuring several
high-ranking figures in the law enforcement institutions, and a
businessman who was a brother of a graft case fugitive.

 - REGULATIONS IN SIX SECTORS WILL BE OVERHAULED: MINISTER
 The government will overhaul regulations concerning
infrastructure, transportation, energy, food, small- and
medium-entreprises and industry and services sectors, chief
economics minister Hatta Rajasa said. (Kompas)
 - POLICE SKYTRUCK PLANE MISSING IN PAPUA
 Papuan police lost contact with one of their Skytruck M28
planes on a flight from Jayapura to Puncak Jaya district, an

ALLOCATES $110.4 MILION FOR CAPEX
 Indonesian coal miner PT Indika Energy Tbk (INDY.JK) plans
to set aside $110.4 million for capital expenditure, out of
$230 million raised in its latest bond issuance, said Chief
Operating Officer Wishnu Wardana. (Bisnis Indonesia)
 - INDONESIA DELAYS L/C MANDATORY FOR MINING AND COMMODITY
EXPORTERS
 Indonesia's trade ministry has postponed an obligation for
mining and comodity exporters with minimum export value of $1
million to use letters of credit (L/C) until July 1 due to
uncertainties in the global market, said director of mining and
industrial goods export Albert Yusuf Tobogu. (Kontan)
 - SEMEN GRESIK SEES HIGHER DEMAND IN 2010, TO BOOST OUTPUT
 Indonesia's largest cement producer, PT Semen Gresik Tbk
(SMGR.JK), expects domestic demand to increase 5-6 percent next
year, and aims to boost output to 19 million tonnes, President
Director Dwi Soetjipto said. (Kontan)
 MARKET SNAPSHOTS
 * Indonesia's index .JKSE gained 0.2 percent on Monday,
with coal miner Bumi Resources (BUMI.JK) recovered 2.11 percent
after falling 8.4 percent in early trade, while Telkom
(TLKM.JK) dropped 1.8 percent.
 *  U.S. stocks rose on Monday after another round of solid
economic reports but pulled off session highs after a Federal
Reserve official's warning about banks' loan losses.  [.N]
 * Oil prices rose more than $1 to top $78 a barrel on
Monday as strong manufacturing data from the United States and
China stoked optimism for a turnaround in the economy and in
fuel demand. [O/R]

 * Malaysian crude palm oil futures finished flat on Monday,
recouping losses of up to 2.4 percent earlier in the day, as a
rebound in crude oil and soy prices sparked some short-covering
in late trade, traders said. [POI/]
 * In Indonesia, the state marketing centre based in Jakarta
sold 5,000 tonnes of palm oil at a top price of 6,433 rupiah
per kg on Monday, against 6,547 rupiah per kg on Friday.

NEWS - For an outlook of Asian stock trading, click on

slipped on Monday as falling stocks spurred by the failure of
U.S. lender CIT Group encouraged investors to unwind their
