Malaysia's LCL Corp says hasn't got takeover notice

KUALA LUMPUR, June 2 (Reuters) - Malaysian interior decorator LCL Corp (LCLC.KL) has not received any notice from parties wishing to take over the company, the firm said on Monday.

"The company wishes to clarify that from time to time, the company has been approached by developers on project basis and not on the context of potential takeover target," LCL said.

"Such approaches by the developers are merely business in nature and does not have any implication of takeover."

A local newspaper had reported that the company was a potential takeover target.
