THE STAR

- WCT Engineering Bhd (WCTE.KL) is planning more projects in Vietnam following the approval obtained for its first commercial landmark in the suburbs of Ho Chi Minh City, its Executive Director Loh Siew Choh said.

- Interior fit-out group LCL Corp Bhd (LCLC.KL) is bidding for extra large, or XL-sized jobs, worth hundreds of millions of ringgit each in Dubai.

NEW STRAITS TIMES

- The protection of migrant workers will be the main topic of discussion at the annual bilateral talks between Indonesia President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

BUSINESS TIMES

- A group of eight mid-sized accounting firms are working to form a loose alliance to provide clients a clear alternative to the "Big Four" that dominate the industry, Business Times learnt.

- Hong Kong-based hotelier and property tycoon David Chiu is bullish on Malaysia's property market, saying there is plenty of room for residential property prices to move upwards.

THE EDGE FINANCIAL DAILY

- The Malaysian Resources Corporation Bhd (MYRS.KL)-led consortium, which includes Scomi Engineering Bhd (SMNG.KL) and Penang Port Commission, is believed to have beaten three other bidders for the Penang monorail job, sources said.

THE MALAYSIAN RESERVE

- SapuraCrest Petroleum Bhd (SCRS.KL) is set for a good future going forward after securing works totalling about six billion ringgit to date and seeing its long term strategy of increasing its regional presence moing on track, its Executive Vice-Chairman Shahril Shamsuddin said.

- Low-cost carrier AirAsia Bhd (AIRA.KL) has seen strong selling activities of its shares by foreign shareholders, OSK Research said.

THE SUN

- Gerakan Adviser, Lim Keng Yaik, says Penang Chief Minister Koh Tsu Koon is still the best man to lead Penang for the time being and should contest a state seat in the coming general election rather than switch to a parliamentary seat.  Continued...
