MARKET SNAPSHOTS * Malaysia's benchmark stock index may rise on Monday in line with gains seen on Wall Street last Friday, with ample liquidity expected to fuel the recent buying momentum. [.KLSE] * "We are optimistic on the outlook for the Malaysian equity market," said the research unit of CIMB Investment Bank. * "We have been on a roadshow to Europe this week and the response has been very good. Most of the funds are very light on Malaysia and are keen to increase their weightings since it has lagged other regional markets," it said in its weekly note. * Shares of Malaysia Airlines (MASM.KL) are expected to come under pressure after the national carrier reported its first quarterly loss in two-and-half years, hit by overcapacity, volatile fuel prices and a global economic downturn.
