MARKET SNAPSHOTS * Malaysian shares closed down 0.3 percent at 1,070.90 points on Wednesday in line with mostly lower regional markets as investors turned cautious about the pace of the region's economic recovery. [.KLSE] * Malaysia's benchmark stock index .KLSE will be well supported at the 1,062-1,068 points level ahead of the government's announcement of more liberalisation measures later this month, said a bank-backed brokerage. * Prime Minister Najib Razak is expected to announce moves to boost foreign investments at the annual Invest Malaysia conference on June 30. * Technology shares buoyed the Nasdaq on Wednesday after positive broker comments on Qualcomm, but financial shares' losses held back the Dow and the S&P 500. [STXNEWS/AS] - The Indonesian rupiah faltered on Wednesday as investors took profits from a recent rally in local stocks and bonds, but the Singapore dollar bucked the general Asian weakness supported on stronger-than-expected exports data.
