VIG to start trading on Prague bourse on Feb 5
PRAGUE, Feb 1 (Reuters) - Trading in insurer Vienna Insurance Group's WISV.VI (VIGR.VI) shares on the Prague Stock Exchange (PSE) will start on Feb. 5, the bourse said on Friday. The exchange said the stock of the Austrian insurer, which announced a secondary listing in Prague last week, would be traded in the blue-chip, market maker-based SPAD segment.
It will be quoted by market makers Atlantik Financni Trhy, Ceska Sporitelna, FIO and Patria Finance.
Vienna Insurance Group owns the second biggest Czech insurer, Kooperativa Pojistovna.
With market capitalisation of $8.5 billion, it will become the fourth biggest stock on the Prague bourse and the second Austrian issuer on the exchange, following Erste Bank (ERST.VI).
The insurer traded up 0.8 percent at 51.91 euros in Vienna at 1603 on Friday, in line with the Vienna ATX .ATX index.
