FACTBOX-Job cuts announced in Britain since March

July 1 (Reuters) - Diageo Plc (DGE.L), the world's biggest
spirits group, announced on Wednesday the closure of a grain
distillery and a packaging plant in Scotland with the loss of
nearly 900 jobs to cut its costs in the current downturn.
