Shares in cancer specialist Antisoma (ASM.L) rise as much as 4 percent on the back of fresh Phase II data for its AS1411 drug in leukaemia and Phase I data for its As1409 drug in malignant melanoma.
"This could provide a boost to the shares which have been range bound," says Ian Wainwright, managing director life sciences specialist sales at brokerage Canaccord Adams.
The data was presented at the leading American Society of Clinical Oncology meeting in Orlando, Florida over the weekend.
