Nigeria president nominates Sanusi as cbank governor
ABUJA, June 1 (Reuters) - Nigerian President Umaru Yar'Adua has written to the Senate nominating First Bank (FBNP.LG) managing director Lamido Sanusi as central bank governor for the next five years, according to a presidency statement on Monday.
"President Umaru Yar'Adua has nominated Lamido Sanusi as governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria," presidential spokesman Olusegun Adeniyi said.
