Shares in Intercytex (ICX.L), a developer of cell-based therapies for regenerating skin and hair, plunge 53 percent after it receives no bids to take over the whole group in a single transaction.

Intercytex says discussions on selling part of the business continue.

Shares in Intec Telecom Systems (ITL.L) are up 5 percent, after UBS repeats its "buy" rating and ups its target price to 80 pence from 70 pence, following an investor day on Tuesday.

UBS says it is impressed with initiatives being taken internally and Intec's commitment to 1 to 2 percent EBITDA margin increase per year as well as "arguably above top-line growth".
