URGENT-Slovenia's Krka H1 sales up 2 percent

LJUBLJANA, July 2 (Reuters) - Slovenia's pharmaceutical company Krka (KRKG.LJ) said on Thursday group sales in the first half of 2009 rose by 2 percent to 477.9 million euros ($674.3 million).

It said sales in the Russian federation, which is Krka's biggest market, rose by 10 percent to 86.6 million euros. Krka is due to release profit figures for the first half of the year at the end of July. ($1=.7087 Euro) (Reporting by Marja Novak, Editing by Hans Peters)
