Italian Stocks - Factors to watch on July 6
MILAN, July 6 (Reuters) - The following factors could affect Italian markets on Monday.

FINMECCANICA (SIFI.MI)
The Libyan Investment Authority is buying shares in the Italian aerospace and defence company on the market with the aim of reaching "a significant" stake, initially of around 2 percent, an Italian newspaper said on Sunday. [ID:nL5609915]
On Saturday, Finmeccanica denied an Italian website report that it was in talks with the Libyan sovereign fund over the sale of a stake of up to 10 percent. [ID:nL4514870]
FIAT (FIA.MI)
The Italian vehicle maker will sign a strategic alliance with China's Guangzhou Automobile Industry Group on Monday, Chinese officials said on Sunday. [ID:nL5713761]
Fiat's compact city car the 500 will be produced at a Belvidere, Illinois site in the U.S. where its partner Chrysler has a factory, La Repubblica said on Sunday citing the Edmund.com website.
Italian Industry Minister Claudio Scajola has called a meeting July 8 with the vehicle group, auto sector trade unions and regional authorities, FIM-CISL union official Bruno Vitali said on Friday.
INTESA SANPAOLO (ISP.MI), ASSICURAZIONI GENERALI (GASI.MI)
Italy's antitrust regulator is probing a new pact between Credit Agricole (CAGR.PA) and Assicurazioni Generali (GASI.MI) on their stakes in Intesa Sanpaolo SpA (ISP.MI), the regulator said on Friday. [ID:nL3447747]
TELECOM ITALIA (TLIT.MI)
* The Fossati family holding Findim has written down its 5 percent stake in Telecom Italia to 1.705 euros per share, from 1.832 euros, in its 2008 results, saying the latest value reflects the telecom company's future development plans, La Stampa said on Monday.
On Friday, the shares closed up 0.85 percent to 1.003 euros.
The incumbent operator and Hutchison Whampoa Ltd (0013.HK)
unit 3 Italia have signed an agreement to share at least 2,000
mobile radio sites, the company said in a joint statement on

3 Italia has a total of 9,000 sites for its mobile telephone network and does not have other co-siting agreements, a company spokesman told Reuters on Saturday.
EDISON (EDN.MI),IRIDE (IRD.MI)
Industrialists in the Livorno area of west Italy favour construction at Rosignano of an LNG terminal in addition to one already being constructed at Livorno by Germany's E.ON AG (EONGn.DE) and Iride SpA (IRD.MI), Il Sole 24 Ore said on Saturday citing an industrialists leader.
Italian energy group Edison has previously considered building an LNG terminal near Rosignano, which is in the Tuscany region of Italy.
SMALL AND MID-CAPS
PIRELLI & C REAL ESTATE (PCRE.MI)
The company's 400 million euros capital increase, which closed on Friday, was 98 percent subscribed, La Repubblica newspaper said on Saturday in an unsourced report.
PIAGGIO (PIA.MI)
The scooter maker revised 2010 targets downwards in a new three-year plan on Friday, sending its shares down nearly 5 percent. [ID:nL3301442]
The company is aiming for an EBITDA margin of more than 12 percent, Il Sole 24 Ore said on Sunday in its Letter to the Investor feature.
LANDI RENZO (LR.MI)
The company, which makes LPG and gas power systems for cars, should post a 15 percent rise in 2009 sales to 250 million euros, said Il Sole 24 Ore on Saturday in its share of the week feature.
SAFILO (SFLG.MI)
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services lowered its long-term corporate credit rating on the eyewear maker to "SD" (selective default), from "CC", after the company deferred a 19 million euro debt payment, S&P said on Friday. [ID:nWNA8377]
MARIELLA BURANI FASHION GROUP (MBFG.MI)
The company has sold its 51 percent stake in Calgaro Srl part of its fashion jewellery division for an enterprise value of 4.1 million euros, it said in a statement on Saturday.
I VIAGGI DEL VENTAGLIO (VVE.MI)
The holiday company wants to find an industrial partner, but also would consider a financial partner, as part of its restructuring, Chairman Bruno Virgilio Columbo said in an interview in Milano Finanza on Saturday.
SCREEN SERVICE <SSB.MI.
The broadcasting technologies company has appointed Carlo Bombelli as its chairman and Antonio Mazzara as chief executive as part of a strengthening of its structure, it said on Friday. [ID:nBIA031ed]

PRADA
The Dutch holding which owns the unlisted fashion brand has decided to issue 650 million euros worth of convertible bonds to major banks, Milano Finanza said in an unsourced report.
RETAIL SALES
Saturday's launch of July sales saw shorter queues outside the luxury brands and an overall 4 to 5 percent fall in sales, compared to a year earlier, Il Sole 24 Ore said on Sunday citing consumer group Codacons.
