UK Rough gas store down to one compressor from Tues

LONDON, July 6 (Reuters) - Only one of the two gas compressors at Britain's Rough gas store would be in operation from Tuesday because the facility is nearly full, its operator Centrica (CNA.L) said on Monday.

"Based on the high volume of gas in Rough we anticipate single train compression commencing at some point during gas day July 7," the company said in a statement.

It said Rough was 88 percent full as of 0500 GMT on Monday. Rough's total capacity is 37,000 gigawatt hours. (Reporting by Kwok W. Wan; editing by James Jukwey) (kwok.wan@reuters.com +44-207-542-2454)
