HELSINKI, Aug 7 (Reuters) - The following stocks may be affected by newspaper reports and others factors on Thursday:

DANSKE BANK (DANSKE.CO)

First-half net profit at Denmark's biggest financial firm fell a smaller-than-expected 24 percent and the group stood by its outlook for the full year.

Danske reported a net profit for the first six months of 2008 of 5.8 billion Danish crowns ($1.21 billion), compared with 7.6 billion in the corresponding months of 2007 and an average of 5.4 billion in a Reuters poll.

NORSKE SKOG (NSG.OL)

The Norwegian papermaker posted a drop in core earnings for the second quarter in line with forecasts on Thursday, and said operating results remain weak despite some signs of improvement.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) fell to 601 million Norwegian crowns ($116 million) in the three months to the end of June from 1.13 billion in the same quarter last year.

TGS-NOPEC (TGS.OL)

The Norwegian seismic surveyor, supplier to a booming oil and gas industry, reported a 77 percent jump in second-quarter operating profit and said demand for its services remains robust.

Earnings before interest and tax rose to $66.6 million in April-June from $37.6 million a year ago, beating all forecasts in a Reuters poll of 13 analysts.  Continued...
