Ablynx says names new Chief Scientific Officer
BRUSSELS, Jan 8 (Reuters) - Belgium's Ablynx (ABLX.BR), which is using the DNA of camels and llamas to develop a new class of drugs, said after market on Thursday that it had appointed Debbie Law as Chief Scientific Officer. Ablynx said Law had over 13 years of experience in the biotech industry, with expertise in drug discovery.
She will head Ablynx's research activities and identify and prioritise new therapeutic programmes.
Before joining Ablynx, Law was at PDL BioPharma (PDLI.O) for five years, serving as Vice President of Research since 2006.
