Italian Stocks - Factors to watch on June 10
MILAN, June 10 (Reuters) - The following factors could affect Italian markets on Wednesday.

FIAT (FIA.MI)
The U.S. Supreme Court cleared the way for the sale of
Chrysler LLC to Fiat SpA, and General Motors Corp GMGMQ.PK
began to revamp its widely criticized board by naming a former
AT&T Inc (T.N) chief executive as chairman. [nN26485137]
Chrysler is aiming to close its sale to a group led by Fiat by 1400 GMT on Wednesday, according to a person familiar with the plans. [ID:nWEN0283]
A merged Fiat-Chrysler faces a "tremendous amount of risk" on many programmes, including small-car launch in United States, Michael Robinet, CSM Worldwide's vice president of global forecasting, said on Tuesday.
ENEL (ENEI.MI)
China Investment Corp is interested in buying 3 percent to 5 percent of the power utility giant, La Stampa said, citing financial sources. The investment company is also interested in taking a stake in the renewable energy unit, Enel Green Power, it said.
INTESA SANPAOLO (ISP.MI), GENERALI (GASI.MI), CREDIT AGRICOLE (CAGR.PA)
Intesa's four foundation shareholders are working together to safeguard their interests in an antitrust case about a shareholder pact between Generali and Credit Agricole that could result in a fine for the bank, said Fabio Roversi Monaco, chairman of Carisbo, one of the foundations.
TELECOM ITALIA (TLIT.MI)
Development Deputy Minister Paolo Romani said the telecommunications operator must remain under Italian ownership.
GENERALI
Antoine Bernheim reiterated that he would not put his name up for the job as the insurer's chairman again when his term expired next year, several newspapers said. But he said he would be happy to do it if asked.
ERG (ERG.MI)
JP Morgan cut its price target on the refiner to 9 euros
from 11 euros, kept rating "underweight".
SARAS (SRS.MI)
JP Morgan cut its price target on the oil refiner to 2.2 euros from 3 euros, kept rating "neutral".
SMALL- AND MID-CAPS
MAIRE TECNIMONT (MTCM.MI)
The engineering company has signed a letter of intent for a 200 million euro share of a contract to build a gas treatment plant in Iran, it said in a statement on Tuesday. [ID:nMAT009653]
CREDITO VALTELLINESE (PCVI.MI)
The bank's board has approved a Tremonti bond issue for 200 million euros and a convertible bond issue for up to 625 million euros, it said in a statement on Tuesday. [ID:nMAT009652]
GIANNI VERSACE
Italian fashion designer Gianni Versace named Gian Giacomo Ferraris of the Jil Sander Group its chief executive from July 15. [ID:nL9438878]
Jil Sander Chief Financial Officer Alessandro Cremonesi will
replace Ferraris as chief executive of the group, which is owned
by Japan's Onward Holdings Co (8016.T). Cremonesi told Il Sole
in an interview the group was not immune to the market downturn
but was still doing deals like a license agreement with Iris for
shoes and another one with Marchon for glasses.
* GEMINA (GEMI.MI)
Shareholders in Investimenti e Infrastrutture, the group that holds 29.3 percent of the holding company, are prepared to take part in Gemina's recapitalisation, MF said in an unsourced story. The move will take place by the end of the year.
POLTRONA FRAU (PFGI.MI)
Bank of America raised its rating on the furniture maker to "buy"
