Former Lazard banker joins Gleacher Shacklock
LONDON, July 9 (Reuters) - A top London dealmaker is set to join the mergers and acquisitions team at independent advisory firm Gleacher Shacklock, the company said on Thursday.
Peter Warner, who was most recently UK head of investment banking at Lazard (LAZ.N), will join as partner and start in his new role on Monday, a spokeswoman for Gleacher Shacklock said.
He will focus on providing M&A advice and have a particular focus on media companies, the spokeswoman said.
Warner joins a number of other recent hires made by the London-based advisory firm, which include Dorian Lowell, a former partner at hedge fund One East Partners. (Reporting by Tom Freke; Editing by David Cowell)
