HELSINKI, July 10 (Reuters) - Finnish engineering group Metso (MEO1V.HE) has received new orders from China worth around 260 million euros ($362 million).

Metso said on Friday it would deliver a 170 million euro coated fine paper production line to Shandong Huatai Paper Co. Ltd, part of Huatai Group, in the Shandong Province.

The production line, producing around 500,000 tonnes of coated and uncoated fine paper annually, is planned to be in operation in the first quarter of 2011, the company said.

Metso also said it had signed a letter of order with MCC Meili Paper Industry Co Ltd for a 90 million euro lightweight-coated paper line to Zhongwei city in the Ningxia region, expected to be running in the first quarter of 2011.

"The deal is still subject to the parties coming to the final agreement of the project within a few months," Metso said in a statement. (Reporting by Eva Lamppu) ($1 = 0.7173 euro)
