* Turkcell appeals regulator decision to cut prices
* Row over lucrative call-termination fees
* Turkcell shares ease
(Adds details, reaction)
ISTANBUL, June 11 (Reuters) - Turkcell (TCELL.IS) said on Thursday it had opened two cases to seek the annulment of a decision by a state regular to force the mobile phone operator to lower its fees for certain phone calls.
The dispute centres on Turkcell's call termination fees, which an operator charges for connecting calls to their networks.
The state regulator on May 1 lowered the call-termination fees Turkcell applies to competitors by 28 percent after fixed-line operator Turk Telekom (TTKOM.IS) opened a case.
On Wednesday a Turkish shareholders association representing some 50,000 shareholders, including owners of Turkcell shares, also opened a case to seek the cancellation of the regulator's decision.
Turkcell shares were down 1.21 percent at 8.15 lira at 0740 GMT, while Turk Telekom was off 0.47 percent at 4.28 lira. Istanbul's main share index was flat.
Turk Telekom, owner of Turkish mobile phone operator Avea, has long complained of unfair pricing by Turkcell. Turkcell denies the charges. (Reporting by Alexandra Hudson and Paul de Bendern; editing by Simon Jessop)
