GREECE'S ATEBANK GROWS Q1 PROFIT 23.1 PCT Y/Y
Greece's sixth-largest lender ATEbank (AGBr.AT) said on Thursday first quarter group net profit rose 23.1 percent to 37.3 million euros, boosted by trading gains. [ID:nLE109909]
GREEK UNEMPLOYMENT DROPS TO 9.1 PCT IN FEB
Greece's unemployment rate declined in February, the first monthly drop since July, but analysts said this did not signal a turnaround in the labour market. [ID:nLE657822]
The national statistics service (NSS) will report first-quarter GDP figures, at 0900 GMT. Greece's economy likely slowed to a 0.5 percent annual expansion pace in the first quarter from 2.4 percent in the last quarter of 2008, according to the median forecast of five economists surveyed by Reuters.
