IBERDROLA (IBE.MC)
Spanish utility Iberdrola said on Tuesday it plans to issue 1.25 billion euros ($1.7 billion) of shares and place them with private investors without resorting to a rights issue.

SOS CUETARA (SOS.MC)
New York-listed investment fund Overture Acquisition Corporation wants to invest 200 million euros ($277.9 million) to buy a stake in SOS Cuetara, El Economista reported, citing access to a letter from Overture to SOS' directors.

Photovoltaic investments will be reduced to 1.6 billion euros in Spain this year, compared to 16.4 billion a year ago, Spanish press reported, citing forecasts by industry association ASIF.
MACROECONOMY
Spain's main labour unions said on Tuesday they may reach a deal with business groups and the government on labour laws by July amid calls for urgent reforms to stave off unemployment.
