STOCKS NEWS EUROPE-Wilmington up; in-line FY, RBS upgrade
Shares in Wilmington Group Plc (WIL.L) rise 6 percent to 129 pence after the publishing and professional training company posts full-year profits in line with market estimates and RBS upgrades to "buy".
"Directionally, the results were as expected," says analyst Dominic Buch of Numis Securities.
"While our forecasts assume continued near-term pressure in the legal and financial industries, we believe that Wilmington is well-managed (and) structurally sound with a strong balance sheet," adds Buch, who has a "buy" rating on the stock.
Separately, RBS upgrades Wilmington to "buy" from "add" and raises its price target on the stock to 150 pence from 114 on valuation grounds, citing resilient final results despite tough conditions.
