Italian Stocks - Factors to watch on June 19
MILAN, June 19 (Reuters) - The following factors could affect Italian markets on Friday.

GENERALI (GASI.MI)
French peer Axa (AXAF.PA) wants international accounting
rules changed to better reflect insurers' long-term obligations
but industry players warned against making rules more opaque.

INTESA SANPAOLO (ISP.MI)
The antitrust authority will likely go ahead with its probe into a pact between Credit Agricole (CAGR.PA) and Assicurazioni Generali (GASI.MI) over their stakes in the bank even if the pact will be changed, La Stampa reported, citing legal sources.
While Credit Agricole is working on getting the "lighter" pact with Generali on their stakes in the bank approved by the antitrust, it is also looking at alternatives as to avoid writing down around 2 billion euros, Il Sole 24 Ore said without citing sources. The "lighter" pact is said not to satisfy Italy's antitrust body.

Eni will likely close ahead of schedule its retail bond offering as demand totalled 4 billion euros, Corriere della Sera reported without citing sources.
PIRELLI (PECI.MI)
German auto supplier Continental (CONG.DE) expects worldwide
demand for passenger car tyres to grow to nearly 1.25 billion
units next year from the 1.2 billion units it expects this year,
its passenger tyre division head told a German magazine.

* FINMECCANICA (SIFI.MI)
The aerospace and defence group is in talks with Northrop Grumman (NOC.N), besides Boeing (BA.N), over partnering in the U.S. order for between 400 and 500 M-346 fighter trainer aircraft, MF reported without citing sources.
BANCA MONTE DEI PASCH DI SIENA (BMPS.MI)
Tuscany region businessmen are working to form a consortium to buy 106 branches from the bank, the head of Florence's business lobby said on Thursday. [ID:nL144474]
UBI BANCA (UBI.MI)
The bank's management board has finalised the conditions for its convertible bond issue to run from June 22 to July 10, the bank said on Thursday adding it decided a share capital increase of 639 million euros to service the issue.
Mediobanca (MDBI.MI), the global coordinator for the issue,
and Credit Suisse CGSN.VX are underwriting the convertible
bond issue.
ENEL (ENEI.MI)
The Italian utility will complete the cash and assets deal to acquire 25 percent of its Spanish unit Endesa (ELE.MC) from Acciona (ANA.MC) on June 25. [ID:nMDT006491]

NEWS CORP (NWSA.O), MEDIASET (MS.MI)
TV and publishing group News Corp sees fair competition in the Italian TV sector as favouring viewers, according to News's Chief Executive for Europe and Asia James Murdoch on Thursday. [Id:nLI83552]
PRYSMIAN (PRY.MI)
The cable company is rated "buy" with a target price of 13.0 euros by Milan broker Centrosim in a note initiating coverage. On Thursday, Prysmian closed down 0.11 percent at 9.33 euros.
SMALL, MID-CAPS
TISCALI (TIS.MI)
The pricing of the internet provider's capital increase will be decided by a board meeting on June 22, the company said in a statement on Thursday about the publication of documents for its shareholder meeting later this month.
INDESIT (IND.MI)
Deputy Chairman Andrea Merloni is "moderatly optimistic" about the second quarter, Corriere della Sera quoted him saying. Globally there are no more fears of a collpase but "the crisis will still be long and the recovery, when it will arrive, will be slow," he said.
FMR-ART'E (EART.MI)
Codex, a company owned by FMR-Art'e main shareholders, completes its takeover offer to delist the art publisher.
