Slovene bank NLB raises 405 mln euro syndicated loan
LJUBLJANA, June 19 (Reuters) - Slovenia's largest bank state-owned Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB) raised 405 million euro ($563.8 million) in a syndicated loan from 19 banks, NLB said on Friday.
The loan with maturity of one year was organised by Calyon, ING Bank N.V., Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. (ISP.MI), Lloyds TSB Bank plc (LLOY.L), Raiffeisen Zentralbank (RIBH.VI), Standard Chartered Bank and Bayerische Landesbank (BLGGgh.MU), NLB said in a statement.
"The money will be spent on refinancing and financing business activities of NLB group," it added.
The unlisted NLB is 30.6 percent owned by Belgian banking and insurance group KBC (KBC.BR). ($1=.7183 Euro)
