Egypt's Raya 9-month profit drops 43 percent

CAIRO, Nov 20 (Reuters) - Egypt's Raya Technology and Communication (RAYA.CA) posted on Thursday a 43 percent decline in profit for the first nine months of the year to 41.1 million Egyptian pounds ($7.4 million).

Egypt's stock exchange, in a statement on its website, did not give further details on the results. A company spokeswoman contacted by Reuters declined to give further details.

Shares of Raya, down 62 percent this year to Wednesday's close, dropped 2.83 percent to 4.80 pounds. ($1 = 5.53 Egyptian pounds) (Writing by Will Rasmussen)
