Spain's Criteria said on Monday it had ended talks with France's Suez Environnement (SEVI.PA) over its stake in water and services group Agbar (AGS.MC) without reaching an agreement.

Auditor DeLoitte uncovered a 40 million euro hole in the Spanish property firm's 2008 accounts, El Economista reported, citing documents to which the newspaper has had access.
