Italian Stocks - Factors to watch on June 24

 MILAN, June 24 (Reuters) - The following factors could
affect Italian markets on Wednesday.

 INTESA SANPAOLO (ISP.MI)
 The bank has approved a plan to reorganise its bancassurance
business and asked the antitrust authority to remove an
obligation to sell its bancassurance unit Sud Polo Vita, the
bank said in a statement on Tuesday. [ID:nN2376337]
 
  * The bank has agreed to provide 250 million euros ($346.5
million) in financing to small and mid-sized companies in the
Lombardy region under an accord with local business
associations, Il Sole 24 Ore said, quoting the head of the
Assolombarda business group.
 
 ENI (ENI.MI)
 The oil company declared force majeure on crude oil exports
from Nigeria's Brass River, a spokesman said on Tuesday.

  * FIAT (FIA.MI)
 The automaker could issue a 1 billion euro bond shortly, Il
Sole 24 Ore said, citing financial sources. The company also
plans to shut down its CNH farm equipment plant at Imola within
two years, company spokesman said, confirming newspaper reports.
 
 ITALCEMENTI (ITAI.MI)
 The company will temporarily shut down cement production in
its two Bulgarian plants in August as the global downturn hit
demand, its Bulgarian unit said on Tuesday. [ID:nLN428796]
 
 A2A (A2.MI)
 The regional utility said on Tuesday it would take
possession of two former Endesa Italia power plants on July 1,
part of a demerger deal with Germany's E.ON (EONGn.DE). A2A's
overall installed capacity will thus rise to about 5,700
megawatts.
 
 UNIPOL (UNPI.MI)
 The insurer said on Tuesday market regulator Consob had
approved its voluntary public tender offer for a 300 million
euro subordinated bond issue issued in 2003.
 
 SMALL AND MID-CAPS
 
  * AS ROMA (ASR.MI)
 Mediobanca, advisor to Italpetroli on the sale of the soccer
club, has told the bidding Fiornelli consortium to show it has
the funds to make the buy or talks are broken off, Il Sole 24
Ore said in an unsourced report. Italpetroli shareholder
UniCredit is prepared to auction off the club.
 
 SAFILO (SFLG.MI)
 Safilo is still in talks to find a partner to strengthen its
balance sheet and has started talks with creditor banks to seek
