Spanish stocks - Factors to watch on Wednesday

MADRID, Feb 25 (Reuters) - The following Spanish stocks may be affected by newspaper reports and other factors on Wednesday. Reuters has not verified the newspaper reports, and cannot vouch for their accuracy:

IBERIA (IBLA.MC)

The new group that would be formed from the Spanish airline's planned merger with British Airlines (BAY.L) would have its headquarters in London, El Mundo reported, citing unnamed sources close to the negotiations.

Separately, El Economista cited unnamed sources close to the Iberia-BA operation as saying that the British airline would accept a merger in which it controlled 55 percent.

METROVACESA (MVC.MC)

The Sanahuja family will have to hand over assets for a gross value of 412 million euros to the property firm Metrovacesa (MVC.MC), an auditor's report showed on Tuesday. For more, click on [ID:LO141924]

RENTA CORPORACION (REN.MC)

The Spanish property firm is talking to creditors about signing its Barcelona headquarters over to them for 60-65 million euros in order to pay down debt, a source close to the deal said on Tuesday. For more, click [ID:nL0819495]

CINTRA (CCIT.MC)

The Spanish toll road operator will report full-year results Wednesday before the market opens. A Reuters survey of eight analysts is forecasting EBITDA of 1.069 billion euros and a net loss of 57.3 million. [ID:nLN547147]
