STOCKS NEWS EUROPE-Futures point to higher start

 European stock index futures point to a rise, tracking gains in U.S. equity
markets, with investors seen focusing on banks and commodity shares.
 Futures for the Eurostoxx 50 STXEc1, Germany's DAX FDXc1 and the French
CAC 40 FCEc1 are up between 0.6 percent and 0.7 percent.
 The pan-European FTSEurofirst 300 .FTEU3 closed 0.4 percent lower at
791.95 points on Thursday.
