German stocks - Factors to watch on May 26
FRANKFURT, May 26 (Reuters) - The DAX top-30 index .GDAXI looked set to open 0.6 percent lower on Tuesday, according to pre-market data from brokers at 0619 GMT.
Factors that may move German stocks on Tuesday (share price indications at 0619 GMT):
DEUTSCHE TELEKOM (DTEGn.DE)
Indicated 0.4 percent lower
The German telecommunications company plans to extend its savings programme to beyond 2010, Chief Financial Officer Timotheus Hoettges told German daily General-Anzeiger.

Metro indicated 0.3 percent lower
Arcandor indicated 9.6 percent lower
Two meetings scheduled for this week between the companies' chief executives and finance chiefs regarding a possible "German Department Store Inc" have been cancelled, German business daily Financial Times Deutschland reported, citing no sources.
Arcandor said on Tuesday the meetings had just been postponed but that no new date had been set.
