Russia mulls creation of fertiliser giant-Ifax
MOSCOW, Dec 26 (Reuters) - The Russian government is mulling the creation of a state-run holding company from potash makers Uralkali (URKA.MM) and Silvinit (SILV.MM) and phosphate mineral apatite producer Apatit, Interfax quoted industry and government sources as saying on Friday.
"The idea under consideration is to buy controlling stakes (in three companies), merge them and appoint government officials," Interfax quoted a government source as saying. (Writing by Gleb Bryanski, Editing by Alfred Kueppers)
