HELSINKI, Aug 28 (Reuters) - The following stocks may be affected by newspaper reports and other factors on Thursday:
PROSAFE (PRSO.OL)
The Norwegian oilfield services group reported a bigger-than-expected 65 percent rise in operating profit to $63.4 million for the second quarter and said the fundamentals of its rig markets remain strong.
The mean forecast in a Reuters survey of six analysts had been for a $60 million profit.

NOKIA SIEMENS NETWORKS [NSN.UL] (NOK1V.HE)
NSN said it had sold its 56.1 percent stake in Korean telecoms network company Dasan Networks (039560.KQ) to a group of Korean investors. EFORE (EFO1V.HE)
The Finnish electronics firm reported falling May-July sales and earnings due to slow growth in the telecoms network market, but stuck to its forecast of a better fiscal 2008 result.

The Norwegian oilfield services group is expected to report a more than tripling of pretax profit for the second quarter on Thursday, to $180 million from $55 million, according to the average estimate in a Reuters poll of 21 analysts. Continued...
