Italian Stocks - Factors to watch on June 29

  MILAN, June 29 (Reuters) - The following factors could
affect Italian markets on Monday.
 Reuters has not verified the newspaper reports, and cannot
vouch for their accuracy. New items are marked with (*).
 
 FIAT FIA.MI>
 Fiat is open to issuing a bond for institutional or retail
investors, or both, CEO Sergio Marchionne said on Saturday,
according to Ansa. He also said it was premature to discuss any
plans regarding production at its joint venture plant near
Valenciennes in France with PSA Peugeot Citroen. [ID:nLR230583]
 
 Without citing sources, La Stampa on Sunday said it could be
decided at the weekend where the Fiat 500 will be made in the
United States as Marchionne works on the Fiat-Chrysler plan. It
said tension was rising at Fiat's Termini Imerese plant where it
plans to halt car output in 2011 and produce something else. One
union has not excluded strikes, Il Messaggero said.
 
  * Fiat must think about new models to produce at its Italian
plants, CGIL Trade union leader Guglielmo Epifani told Corriere
della Sera's insert CorrierEconomia; "direct and indirect" jobs
at risk due to the crisis are 10,000, he was quoted as saying.
 
 ITALCEMENTI (ITAI.MI)
 The cement maker and its French unit Ciments Francais
(CMFP.PA) have abandoned a proposed merger, saying on Saturday

 ENI (ENI.MI)
 CEO Paolo Scaroni was quoted saying in Saturday's Il Sole 24
Ore that there is nothing on the radar regarding acquisitions
but if opportunities generating synergies were to present
themselves the oil company would look at them.
 
 TELECOM ITALIA (TLIT.MI)
 Expressions of interest have arrived for its stake in
Telecom Argentina but all will depend on the offers, Saturday's
Il Sole 24 Ore said without citing sources, adding the value
could be between 300 and 500 million euros. Citing sources close
to the operation, it said there were no fixed deadlines for
offers to be presented.
 
 Citing rumours, Il Sole 24 Ore said on Saturday Telecom
Italia was said to be evaluating the possibility of emitting a
retail bond. It also said Enel (ENEI.MI) was said to be
evaluating an emission destined for the retail market but such
an operation would not be announced before next year.
 
 Telecom Italia is looking "with a lot of interest" at
financing from the government for broadband, Chairman Gabriele
Galateri was quoted saying in Sunday's Il Messaggero. Commenting
on Eni's bond, he said the operation showed "the bond is an
instrument that is coming back" and that "the retail market
seems to be offering interesting opportunities at the moment".
 
 Hutchison Whampoa (0013.HK) unit 3 Italia is in talks with
interested investors from the Middle East, CEO Vincenzo Novari

  * PRYSMIAN (PRY.MI)
 Dutch cable manufacturer Draka Holding NV (DRAK.AS) said on
Monday it was in talks with Italy's Prysmian (PRY.MI) about a
possible stock for stock merger of the two companies.

  * ATLANTIA (ATL.MI)
 The guidelines of a new shareholder pact will have to be
defined by the autumn in order to safeguard the control of the
motorway company, La Repubblica's insert Affari & Finanza said
without citing sources. The pact could see the Fondazione Crt,
Assicurazioni Generali (GASI.MI) and some sovreign funds siding
the Benetton family, which is its largest shareholder.
 
 ASSET MANAGERS
 Economy minister Giulio Tremonti said at a Friday news
conference he wants to see how other countries introduce tax
amnesties to recover capital held in tax havens before deciding
on a new tax amnesty in Italy. Asset management companies like
Mediolanum (MED.MI) plan to gather funds repatriated by savers.
 ALITALIA
 The airline is in line with its forecasts but "you need to
be realistic", CEO Rocco Sabelli told La Repubblica on Sunday,
adding the priority was to breakeven in 2011. It is bringing in
part-time contracts for flight attendants, taking on 100 staff
currently on the "cassa integrazione" reduced pay scheme.
 
 PERMIRA [PERM.UL], VALENTINO FASHION GROUP
 Permira is nearing completing talks with lenders to
Valentino about renegotiating its 2.5 billion euro debt, the
Financial Times said. Citing a person familar with the company,
it said it was expected to announce in a few weeks that it had
secured a "standstill agreement" with its banks. It said lenders
UniCredit and Mediobanca were not expected to push for a debt
for equity swap and Permira was unlikely to inject more equity.
 
 SMALL AND MID-CAPs
 IRIDE (IRD.MI), ENIA (EN.MI)
 In an interview with Borsa Finanza on Saturday, Iride
Chairman Roberto Bazzano reiterated that the take-off date for
the merged Iride-Enia group would be at the start of October.
 
 PIRELLI & C REAL ESTATE (PCRE.MI)
 The Malacalza family, which acquired a stake in Pirelli
(PECI.MI) shareholder Camfin (CAMI.MI), could be interested in a
Pirelli RE stake, Il Giornale said on Saturday citing rumours.
 
 SOCOTHERM (SCTM.MI)
 It foresees 2009 turnover between 200 and 250 million euros
with an EBITDA margin of 15 percent, Chairman Zeno Soave told Il
Giornale on Saturday. When asked about delisting, he said that
was an operation Socotherm was leaving to its strategic partner.
 
 AMPLIFON (AMPF.MI)
 The hearing aid company should close 2009 with consolidated
revenues around the 650 million euros registered last year with
a "slightly" rising EBITDA as margins rise to 14 percent from
13.8 percent in 2008, Il Sole's "Letter to the Investor" said.
 
 DUCATI
 No one has excluded a return to the stock market for the
motorcycle maker but any such thoughts are a long time away
seeing as it only just delisted a few months ago, CEO Gabriele
Del Torchio told MF on Saturday. He said 2009 had begun "well".
 
 EEMS (EEMS.MI)
 The computer chip assembly company will restart in the third
quarter its activities at its Suzhou, China plant after winning
new orders from Micron Technology Inc, it said. [ID:nBIA263b0]
 
 MANAGEMENT & CAPITALI (MACA.MI)
 Italy's MI.MO.SE said it has filed with market regulator
Consob the document for its 0.08 euros per share offer for all

 I VIAGGI DEL VENTAGLIO (VVE.MI)
 The operator has postponed approval of first-half results to
June 29, it said, setting an end-July date for a shareholder
meeting on its capital 60 million euros increase. [ID:nBIA257c8]
 
 PREMUDA (PRNI.MI)
 It has had to cut the sale price of its Panamax tanker Four
Schooner to $36 million from $42.2 million, it said, adding the
