Spanish pharma group Grifols to list in US

MADRID, May 28 (Reuters) - Spanish blood plasma company Grifols (GRLS.MC) will offer US investors the chance to trade in its shares before the end of the week, a spokeswoman from the company said on Thursday.

Grifols will list in the United States with American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) either today or tomorrow, with two ADRs representing one Grifols share trading in Madrid.

"Grifols will be able to provide its shares with more liquidity and offer American employees and investors the chance to participate in the company thanks to this initiative," Grifols said in a statement.

The shares closed down 0.54 percent at 12.86 euros in Madrid, outperforming a 0.79 percent fall in the main Ibex index (.IBEX). (Reporting by Jonathan Gleave; Editing by Greg Mahlich)
