(Adds further detail)
OSLO, June 29 (Reuters) - Norway's oilfield engineering firm Aker Solutions (AKSO.OL) said on Monday it would sell its 33 percent stake in oil technology services company Odim (ODIM.OL) to Rolls Royce (RR.L) at 45 crowns per share.
The total value is 700 million Norwegian crowns ($108 million), it said.
"The sale gives Aker Solutions a profit of close to 125 million crowns, including dividends paid out by Odim in May," Aker Solutions said in a statement.
Aker Solutions announced the acquisition of the Odim shares from Aker (AKER.OL) on April 2 this year. Aker Solutions said there were other interested parties at the time, leading to a 50/50 profit sharing agreement should the shares be resold during the following year.
"The total profit from the sale of the shares is 186.6 million crowns, of which Aker Solutions and Aker will receive 93.3 million crowns each," it said.
Rolls-Royce has committed to pay Aker Solutions a supplement should they make an offer for, or purchase, further shares in Odim at a price of more than 45 crowns per share, it said.
"This commitment remains in place for nine months after the transaction has been completed," it said.
The agreement is pending clearance by Norwegian competition authorities. ($1=6.483 Norwegian crowns) (Reporting by Aasa Christine Stoltz)
