Italian Stocks - Factors to watch on July 1
MILAN, July 1 (Reuters) - The following factors could affect Italian markets on Wednesday.

* FIAT (FIA.MI)
Some models of U.S. car maker Chrysler, in which Fiat has a stake, are in short supply after factory closures, helping to bolster prices for Jeeps and family minivans, The Wall Street Journal said citing Autodata research.
June Italian car sales data are due out on Wednesday.
* MEDIOBANCA (MDBI.MI), MEDIOLANUM (MED.MI)
Italy's antitrust authority has given Mediobanca a further six months until the end of the year in which to sell its 1.9 percent stake in Mediolanum, Il Messaggero said in an unsourced report.
INTESA SANPAOLO (ISP.MI)
The bank will be told whether it can keep its Sud Polo Vita insurance unit once the antitrust agency completes its probe of a deal by bank shareholders, a source close to the matter said. [ID:nLU292785]
ENI (ENI.MI), EDISON (EDN.MI)
Eni and Edison made the best bids for service contracts in Iraq's Zubair oil field and Akkas gas field, respectively, but did not rebid within a Monday deadline after their offers were judged too high, Il Sole 24 Ore said, without citing sources.
The paper said if Eni's bid remains stalled it could impact the group's bid for the Nassiriyah field.
* MEDIASET (MS.MI)
The Benetton family's 21 Partners private equity fund is taking a 51 percent stake in a multiplex cinema partnership with Mediaset, Il Sole 24 Ore said in an unsourced report.
STMICROELECTRONICS (STM.PA) (STM.MI)
Under the terms of a long-awaited plan to finance its
development needs around the world, France's Areva (CEPFi.PA)
said on Tuesday that it would also sell minority stakes it holds

SNAM RETE GAS (SRG.MI)
The gas grid operator completed buying regulated gas assets
from its parent Eni Spa (ENI.MI) for 4.509 billion euros ($6.37

UTILITIES
Household gas prices will fall 7.7 percent in the third quarter and electricity prices will edge down 1 percent following previous falls in oil prices, Italian energy regulator AEEG said on Tuesday. [ID:nLU265001]
MONDADORI (MOED.MI)
The company plans a reorganisation of its books division to prepare for technological change, such as hand-held electronic books, and to maintain margins, said Chief Executive Maurizio Costa in a Corriere della Sera interview.
FASTWEB (FWB.MI)(SCMN.VX), TELECOM ITALIA (TLIT.MI)
The incumbent telecom operator should not demerge its network and to do so would be an error, Fastweb Chief Executive Stefano Parisi said in a Corriere della Sera interview in his capacity as president of the Asstel industry body.

The bank's bid on its affiliate Banca Italease (BIL.MI) ends
on Wednesday.

TISCALI (TIS.MI)
The internet company will present a new business plan before carrying out in the Autumn the capital increases approved by shareholders on Tuesday, Chairman and Chief Executive Mario Rosso said, cited by Finanza & Mercati.
BIALETTI (BIA.MI)
The coffee machine maker approved a three-year business plan on Tuesday that foresaw a 37 percent rise in core profit, the company said. [ID:nLU261165]
SNIA (SIAI.MI)
The chemical company's board should make a final decision on how to restructure its debt by the end of July, it said in a statement.
ARENA AGROINDUSTRIE ALIMENTARI (ARENA.MI)
The food company said it sold its Castelplanio plant to Gruppo Fileni for 8 million euros. The sale is part of Arena's restructuring plan.
* KINEXIA (KINX.MI)
The company plans to expand its activities in solar power, Il Sole 24 Ore said citing its CEO.
* I VIAGGI DEL VENTAGLIO (VVE.MI)
After the departure of the company's CEO, four board members have quit, the tour and holiday village operator said in a statement on Monday. It said Grandi Viaggi (IGV.MI) had made a binding offer to buy 84.51 percent of its Best Tours. * PIAGGIO (PIA.MI)
Italy scooter sales are up 8.4 percent in the first half of the year, representing 70 percent of the country's two-wheel vehicle market, according to Finanza & Mercati, citing Ancma industry association data.
* AS ROMA (ASR.MI)
Italian bank UniCredit (CRDI.MI) is ready to give
Italpetroli, the football club's main shareholder, further time
to sell the club, Finanza & Mercati said, citing UniCredit
vice-chairman Fabrizio Palenzona.
