BRIEF-Campari statement on private placement

MILAN, June 18 (Reuters) - Italian drinks group Campari (CPRI.MI) said in a statement on Thursday:

* Completed the issue of $250 million private placement of senior unsecured notes placed with institutional investors in the U.S. private placement market.
