MILAN, July 8 (Reuters) - Italy's new car sales in 2009 will match those of last year, the Industry Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday after a technical meeting on the sector.
"Thanks to government incentives, there is a significant recovery in car sales underway," the statement said. Italy's car sales fell 13.36 percent in 2008 to 2.16 million units.
