BRIEF-Finmeccanica on 9-mth results

MILAN, Nov 5 (Reuters) - Italian air and defence company Finmeccanica SpA (SIFI.MI) said in a statement on Thursday:

* 9-month sales 12.64 billion euros ($18.77 billion), up 30 percent

* 9-month net profit 364 million euros, down 8 percent

* 9-month adjusted EBITA 885 million euros, up 46 percent

* sees 2009 revenues at 17.1-17.7 billion euros

* debt at 5.22 billion euros end September
