Sacyr sells 17.4 pct of Itinere at 3.96 euros/shr

MADRID, July 15 (Reuters) - Spanish builder Sacyr Vallehermoso (SVO.MC) said on Wednesday it had sold 17.4 percent of toll road operator Itinere (ITIE.MC) for a total 500 million euros ($699 million), equivalent to 3.96 euros per share.

Sacyr sold 6.96 percent to savings bank Caixa Galicia, another 6.96 percent to Caixanova, and 3.48 percent to Cajastur.

Sacyr's stake is now 9.95 percent. (Reporting by Elisabeth O'Leary; Editing by Dan Lalor) ($1 = 0.7149 euro)
