NEW YORK, June 1 (Reuters) - Major League Baseball said on Monday it renewed four international television broadcast deals, moving forward with plans to bolster its foreign fanbase.

The U.S.-based baseball league renewed rights agreements with Japan's Dentsu (4324.T), which will sub-license rights to six broadcasters; Rogers Sportsnet, which will make games available in Canada; Meridiano Television in Venezuela; and DirecTV (DTV.O) Latin America.

Major League Baseball also reached a new rights deal with Network Ten in Australia to broadcast games. The network will broadcast at least three live regular-season games per week, under terms of the agreements. (Reporting by Paul Thomasch, Editing by Maureen Bavdek)
