NEW YORK, Sept 1 (Reuters) - Some U.S. stocks to watch on Tuesday:

ACADIA PHARMACEUTICALS INC (ACAD.O), $1.97, down 66 pct

The company said its drug to treat psychosis related to Parkinson's disease, which it is co-developing with Biovail Corp (BVF.TO) (BVF.N), failed to meet its primary goal in its first pivotal late-stage trial. [ID:nBNG483104]

EBAY INC (EBAY.O), $22.59, up 2 pct

The company has reached a deal to sell its online telephone unit, Skype, to a group of private investors, the New York Times said, citing two people briefed on its plans. [ID:nBNG516849]

TEXTRON INC (TXT.N), $15.78, up 2.7 pct

Morgan Stanley upgraded Textron Inc by two notches, raising it to "overweight" from "underweight."

BOEING CO (BA.N), $49.67, Monday close

The planemaker late Monday said that Scott Carson, the head of its commercial airplanes division, was retiring and would be replaced by Jim Albaugh, effective on Tuesday. Albaugh was previously the head of Boeing's Integrated Defense Systems unit. [ID:nN31450508]

AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL GROUP INC (AIG.N), $41.30, down 8.9 pct

AIG and former CEO Maurice "Hank" Greenberg said on Monday they have agreed to privately arbitrate a shareholder lawsuit, and possibly another, potentially ending a an extended legal fight between the parties. [ID:nN31446936]. Financial shares have fallen in recent days after a sharp runup.

YRC WORLDWIDE INC (YRCW.O), $2.70, up 21 pct

The company late Monday said it and certain units have entered into an amendment of its credit agreement with other lenders that will continue to provide the company with a $950 million senior revolving credit facility and a certain senior term loan.

BRIGHAM EXPLORATION CO (BEXP.O), $6.55, Monday close

The company late Monday said it expects oil volumes to increase in the third quarter and for cash flows to remain strong. [ID:nBNG464216]

CARDIONET INC (BEAT.O), $7.20, Monday close
