Shares were up 2.2 percent in premarket trading. They closed Tuesday at $56.02.
CONSTELLATION BRANDS INC (STZ.N)
The company reported first-quarter earnings that beat expectations as it sold off some brands and cut costs and affirmed its full-year outlook. [ID:nN01336350]
Shares rose 3.7 percent at $13.15 in premarket trading.
COMBINATORX INC (CRXX.O)
The company signed a merger agreement with Neuromed and expects to issue about 36 million new shares of its common stock to Neuromed stockholders. [ID:nWNAB3609]
Shares rose by nearly 20 percent to 96 cents in premarket trading.
BANK OF AMERICA CORP (BAC.N)
The bank's primary investment management unit is drawing lower than expected bids after its likeliest suitor, according to a report in the Financial Times. AMERICAN EXPRESS CO (AXP.N)
