NEW YORK, July 1 (Reuters) - Some U.S. stocks on the move on July 1:
GENERAL MILLS INC (GIS.N)
The food company reported fourth-quarter earnings that rose from the prior year. It also gave a full-year earnings outlook. [ID:nBNG512328]
Shares were up 3 percent to $57.68.
CONSTELLATION BRANDS INC (STZ.N)
The company reported first-quarter earnings that beat expectations as it sold off some brands and cut costs and affirmed its full-year outlook. [ID:nN01336350]
Shares rose 7.5 percent at $13.63.
INGERSOLL-RAND PLC (IR.N)
The company said it had reincorporated in Ireland, a move that will allow it to take advantage of that nation's European Union membership and tax treaties. [ID:nN01494424]
Shares rose 1 percent to $21.10.
MICROSOFT CORP (MSFT.O)
GOOGLE INC (GOOG.O)
Microsoft's new Bing search engine gained U.S. market share in its first month in operation, while Google's share slid slightly. [ID:nL1665657]
Shares of Microsoft, a Dow component, rose 1.5 percent to $24.13 while Google was up 0.3 percent to $422.91.
